Absolutely gorgeous and enormous Live Oak trees line the main drive through the middle forming a lovely canopy of shade! Walking paths along lakes, fountains and home of the Savannah Bannanas baseball team!

Of the 2 major parks in Savannah proper, this on has the best walking / jogging track, IMO. 1 1/2 miles around, soft to the feet, and relatively even walking surface. Also, during summer months its home to a local baseball team, the Savannah Bananas! The down side? Not as much cutesy things to do within walking distance immediately around the park, and if you want food, you better bring it with you, or plan to walk to Krystals burger :-/

Go see our local minor league baseball team or just enjoy beautiful Daffin Park. Great 1.25 mile loop with cushy terrain!
