Bandalier 'light' if you don't want to go into the national park, but want to see some cliff dwelling stuff.

1.5 mile walk along a mesa, viewing caves, petroglyphs and the Ancestral Pueblo village of Tsankawi. Ladders are a required part of this trail. The trail is very exposed to the elements and should not be taken during localized thunderstorms. Can be slippery in the winter time when snows on the ground and extremely hot in the summertime and the sun is at full height. There is a fee but it can also be applied to Bandelier national Monument.
