The Simantro Beach - a family-friendly setting - has an ideal sandy beach gulf where pine trees reach down to the coast. Shallow waters are perfectly safe to swim for both adults and children. I highly recommend it for a very very early swim when the sun rises or at sunset! The usually peaceful water is crystal clear and with no other people at this hour, it's perfectly calming! You can use your own umbrella and sunbeds, but in case you haven't Simantro Beach Hotel has always some available. The Mastrali Beach Bar (at the edge of the Simantro beach) is situated on a terrace and is open from early in the morning until late in the night, serving coffee, sweets, snacks and a variety of refreshments. Don't forget to try out water sports: waterbike, boat trip or even scuba diving! Late in the evening, you may find a few amateur fishermen holding their rods or handheld lines, sitting on the shore or diving their small boats into the sea.
