Great place for morning swim or midday picnic lunch…. Or afternoon chill out at sunset. Anytime is good time for Dunsborough Bay foreshore. Always beautiful and definitely worth visiting. Lovely for swimming, playing or walks along pathway. Can drive or 15 minute there.

Old Dunsborough boat ramp and beach is the closest section of beach for guests staying in this part of town. There is a kids' playground at the boat ramp.

A calm and clear bay that has shallow waters for little ones, deeper water for bigger kids, and an enclosed shark net pen to swim laps in safety. Free bbq's, playgound and toilet/shower block. A fantastic place for a picnic. If heading down late afternoon - pack a jumper as sometimes the wind crops up a bit. Most importantly it has shade from large peppy trees in the heat of summer.

A favourite swimming spot for families with young children is near the Old Dunsborough Boat Ramp. This calm swimming spot is ideal for kids and is protected by a shark net in summer. Refurbished in 2014, the Blackhurst Park playground has nature-based play equipment that will keep children entertained. Toilets, showers, barbecues and picnic tables are located nearby. The boat ramp is 200m away, and fishing from the rocks near the boat launch is very popular.
