Avdimou Beach – 20 minutes by car Straight down the road from Pachna, cross the highway, and find one of the most lovely beaches anywhere, with two access points and two tavernas. Both beaches have chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Going straight is the Kyrenia Beach and Fish Restaurant. A long stretch of rock and sand beach. Very uncrowded. Kite surfers use one end of the long bay. Taverna features fish, but has other British-style comfort foods that many enjoy. Best fried calamari around, we think.
