A trail that is .12 miles one way, leads to a small beach reached via a steep staircase. Look for seasonal waterfalls from a stream spilling over the bluff. This is the largest parking lot of the Sea Ranch trails, with room for a dozen cars.

You can access the beach by parking in the Stengel beach access lot or hike 20-minutes down to the beach via the trail off Seabird Road (one street to the left). Stengel features a pretty waterfall, great tide pools during low tide, and is a great place to let your dog explore. The beach access is a bit tough down a huge rock with a metal guidepost. There are easier access points if you have limited mobility or small children in your party.
