This place is gorgeous inside and spotless. The views are breathtaking and the surroundings are peaceful and so beautiful! The amenities and special touches to this place (yoga equipment, soaking tub with jets, Zen decor) make it relaxing and enjoyable. The lake and mountain views are stunning! The hosts reached out to communicate to make sure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our stay. They have created a serene and beautiful place. We would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Would give this place 6 stars if I could. Loved everything about this house. The view from the house is perfect and the balcony really gives you a peaceful view of the lake during the day and the stars at night. Inside was really nice as well and clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Julian if you want a nice peaceful stay with great views and nearby restaurants and breweries to spend your time.

Maison Zen was the perfect getaway. A serene home to unwind, relax and soak in the beauty of nature.

The space was spotless, bright and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Nancy and Matt went above and beyond with their hospitality, from refreshments and snacks to small touches like house slippers and bath soaps.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We’d love to return and would highly recommend Maison Zen to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

a beautiful and serene hidden gem overlooking the lake. very peaceful and quiet with incredible views for true R&R, i would come back in a heartbeat. a short jaunt to main street julian for food and wandering around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
