Pass code didn't work had to wait outside the room a half hour before we could get in. No key fob so we couldn't access the pool, hot tub, gym or the elevator closest to the apartment. Only 2 towels for 2 people 3 nights. No kitchen towel for clean up. No pans. Only had half a roll of toilet paper and no paper towels this should be made clear when booking so we could have brought things from home. The breaker kept tripping and shutting everything off. The location was great easy walking distance to the stadiums and good restaurants. The parking garage is very convenient and reasonable. I would stay there again but make sure someone else is the owner. I tried emailing and calling him to get in the room and no response.

Cons
-amenities listed are exaggerated or a complete lie. There was only one fork and spoon. Absolutely no extra linens, blankets, towels etc. A singular hanger in the closet. Bare bones below the minimum.

-unit pictured in photos is not unit you will actually get

-paper thin walls and floors. Can hear absolutely everything at all times of night and day. Even people walking was so loud.

-nice bathroom but shower does not get hot at all

-bed was ok but very firm , horribly uncomfortable couch. Stools don't fit table.

-no working heat that was not fixed at or even looked at at all during a full 4 day stay in January despite being told it would be fixed.

The place has potential to be nice but the lack of effort and things in it makes it not worth it at all. The hosts seem fake and do not actually care at all about place or guests. Disappointing stay, good price for the location but not the value of the place.

The people at the front desk were amazing. They tried to help, and because of their help we got a response after waiting a considerable amount of time that they rented to someone else! We were entering out key code and someone else was in the apartment, who they just rented to that day. We made our reservations a week ahead of time. They even used my phone number as the key code, so I know they had my reservation.

I don't know how Airbnb can have a home on their listing. I have stayed at several Airbnb's in many countries, and NEVER had someone else on the property.

Do not trust this homeowner. This was a very dangerous situation. Thank god we were not hurt physically but this was a very anxious time trying to find a place to stay one day before the Lions play off game.

It’s in a prime spot downtown Detroit. Easy to jump around from all the sports arenas.

The bad: there was no wifi and no attempt to fix wifi during our stay after we told them about it - not a deal breaker but not very cool either. Also no fob to let us in and out of the building because the workers and staff hate this guy and took them away from him. The pool and sauna were closed.

The good: prime location. The building is cool. Parking isn’t free but it’s easy as heck to find and covered. The workers inside were super accommodating.

I’d go there again, but I can’t give it 5 stars.
