I am a web-graphic designer. I come from Switzerland and lives & works in London since 1994. My partner is an artist. We have a passion for decoration and our house has been few times featured in Magazines. We are very eco aware and recycle as much as we can. We try to avoid the use of plastic bags & food packaging. Our free shower gel and shampoo, washing-up liquid are good for the environment. We try to reduce electricity and water consomption.

I had a wonderful long-term stay. Gene was so kind and communicative. She was so warm and friendly, and gave great local tips. I always felt so welcome and at home at her place. The house itself was beautiful and kept with so much care. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay for a few months in London.

The room I stayed in was very spacious and had some amazing decorations. It was the perfect oasis after a long day doing research at the archives.

I loved getting to stay in Lower Clapton. It’s such a vibrant and lively community. Whether it was walking the Hackney Marshes or going a cafe on Chatsworth Road, there was always something new and interesting to do. If you are in London, don’t hesitate to stay here! You will have an amazing time.

[amazing couple & stylish home]

Any art lovers or young designers should keep your eyes on this lovely property. Many of vintage 1960s feature walls in every corner of the house. Genevieve and Pascal let me to understand that "money can buy a house, but only love can build a home".

I wish I could stay longer with them as they made me feel like at home + one day I can build a home just like that (bold, stylish, and full of love). 🍀🍄

Genevieve’s home is a unique little paradise – not only for Orla Kiely and design lovers! From the room to the kitchen and bathroom, and even the small, botanically inspired garden, everything is beautifully designed and full of love in every detail. It’s such a wonderful place to spend time (if only London and the lovely Hackney area didn’t keep calling!). I felt completely comfortable – there’s great coffee, filtered water, and plenty of privacy. Genevieve and her husband are both wonderful hosts and truly interesting people I’d love to visit again.
