An historic movie theater with digital projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and real butter on the popcorn, the Alamo offers weekly movies and other events.

This theater has a historic in house museum of old movie equipment and restoration of old films. The theater house is iconic in itself, and the weekly movie choices are with the most recent movies offered. They have equipment for the hearing impaired and a wonderful sound system.

The Alamo was built as a cinema in 1916. With a recently updated sound system and ticket prices at $6 it's a win-win.

Small Independent Movie Theater. Historic but nicely modernized.

This independent theatre is a great place to catch a movie on the weekends. You can see the schedule at oldfilm.org. Great popcorn, wine, and beer, and a charming experience.
