About 12kms north of Milfontes, the Beach of the Isle of the Peach Tree is a beautiful beach with a dream scenary that has been sung by famous Portuguese musician Rui Veloso. Its waters are quiet and perfect for children.

Praia com extenso areal em frente a ilha do Pessegueiro. O canal da Ilha do Pessegueiro foi usado como porto de abrigo dos Cartagineses e Romanos na difícil subida da costa alentejana. Tem acesso viário pavimentado em caminho municipal e estacionamento para 131 lugares. Na arriba junto à praia localiza-se o Forte do Pessegueiro.
