Abbey Caves Glow Worm Caves is unique and only one located within Whangarei. Only minutes drive from central Whangarei it provides nature at its best. A short walk from the road down to the caves where you can explore the best.

Back to nature. This does need a little agility. torches good footwear that will get wet, and not afraid of the dark

Awesome limestone caves (x3) with glow worms and stalagmites and 'tites. Be prepared to get wet and dirty; bring a torch and suitable footwear. And /or enjoy a ramble among the huge limestone rocks.
