Withlacoochee State Forest spans more than 157,000 acres throughout the western central portion of Florida, located near the cities of Brooksville, Inverness, Lecanto, and Dade City. The forest, which has been named as one of the World Wildlife Fund's 10 Coolest Places You've Never Been in North America.

This is right out back. You can hike or ride horses from this end. A little drive away and much is possible. The World Wildlife Fund listed the Withlacoochee State Forest as one of the "10 Coolest Places You've Never Been in North America".
