Cullera Castle is a construction from the 10th century, from the Caliphate era, built on the remains of another Ibero-Roman building. It was during the reconquest that King Jaime I decided to reform it and expand the fortress. The set is made up of 5 towers, the fortress and two fortified enclosures. The walk between the walls is a return to the past. During the visit you can enjoy a museum, the chapel of the Virgin and of course the weapons room. Incredible views from the top of the mountain to the sea and the ricefields. Short and interesting visit to a small castle. Walks around the area ideal for the whole family

Sube al Castillo de Cullera: a pie, en bici, en coche o en tren turístico. Pasea por sus jardines o visítalo por dentro. Admira sus torres y las magníficas vistas de Cullera desde su mirador. También se realizan visitas nocturnas y juegos de escape en sus instalaciones.

Desde el Castillo de Cullera podréis disfrutar de las mejores vistas, de la ciudad. Este monumento es fruto de numerosas remodelaciones, reconstrucciones y reformas llevadas a cabo durante más de mil años de historia. Desde la Edad Media hasta las Guerras Carlistas, el Castillo de Cullera ha sido testimonio de numerosos y relevantes hechos históricos. Declarado Bien de Interés Cultural, es uno de los monumentos más visitados tras su recuperación y puesta en valor. En su interior se puede visitar el Museo Municipal de Historia y Arqueología, así como diferentes exposiciones o proyecciones audiovisuales sobre la historia de Cullera o el propio Castillo. Forma parte de la Red de Museos de Cullera. Junto a la fortaleza del Castillo se encuentra el Santuario de la Virgen del Castillo, la Patrona de Cullera, Virgen de la Encarnación, que alberga obras de arte religioso de indudable valor.

No puede faltar la visita al Castillo de Cullera, un subida que puede realizarse a pie o en coche. Si decides subir a pie, recomendamos llevar buen calzado debido a que el desnivel es importante.
