Get a metro card in the metro (2 lari which can be refunded) and top it up with enough to make a couple of journeys (0.5 lari per trip). These also make good souvaenirs.

Metro Station is nearby, but mostly the commuters choose to use Taxi services. I would recommend installing Taxify app, it is a little pricey, but at least it has a meter and you are less likely to get ripped off.
