Just a short walk on Front St. to the entrance of the Rock Park. The front facing trail takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. Great panoramic views of Castle Rock and to the south, Pikes Peak.

You can actually hike to the top of the Rock. It's not difficult, just please HYDRATE if you are not from around here.

Visitors can climb this historic landmark through a looped single.track trail system (1.4 miles) in about 30.minutes. From these trails, hikers can reach the base of the Rock and are afforde panoramic views of Downtown Castle Rock, the I.25 corridor, Pikes Peak and the Front Range. This hike offers rocky and uneven terrain. Parking at the trailhead off of 1710 Front Street.
