If you want to try typical dutch herring (fish that is lightly cured in salt) then this is the place to be. For me the best "Haring" in town.

A large selection of very fresh fish from Volendam. The don't always sell lobster or crab but nearly everything else is on offer. Plus many locals go here at lunch time for their freshly prepared fried fish.

Good shop for fresh fish. Try the 'verse haring', the traditional raw salted fish with pickles and onions. (Or go to a market.) They will probably ask: 'Met alles?' (With everything?')
