This is the street which reproduced the Korean shopping street here and there are crowds that sell pickles such as Kimchi and Korean souvenirs. There are plenty of delicious Korean cuisine shops, which is good for enjoying many Korean specialties.

The only area of its kind in Osaka, downtown Tsuruhashi is bustling with activity and a lively atmosphere. The area from here to Ikuno Ward has deep ties with Korea and is known as Korea town or the international market. Here, restaurants serving yakiniku (Asian barbecue) and other Korean foods stand side by side with kushikatsu, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and sushi vendors using only the freshest ingredients. Uehommachi, on the eastern edge of the Uemachi Plateau, is a historical area and also a convenient transportation hub connecting to Iseshima and Nara.
