Inside the ornate facade of the United States Custom House on Bowling Green lies the Museum of the American Indian, the museum contains the largest collection of materials concerning Native Americans in the world it's a repository of artefacts from most of the hundreds of tribes that once inhabited the huge area we now call the United States.

This is a free museum that is very inspiring and beautiful. It used to be the US customs house and port of entry for NYC ships.
