The Soudan Underground mine is a chilly but unique experience if you're interested in learning more about the history of the Iron Range's mines.

It right here . One mile away. It’s the first mine (1882 ) in area and is the only underground mine. Open everyday in summer and closes after Labor Day and goes down by the hour. Show up 15 min early to watch the videos. It’s 50 degree all year round. So bring a jacket.
