Great for walking and views across the Levels

A lovely place for a walk and to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding moors. This is national trust so there is a convenient car park at the bottom. Make sure you're prepared if it has been raining as the hill is quite steep and can be slippy. Definitely worth the climb though, it's our little Glastonbury Tor!

Burrow Mump is a hill and historic site overlooking Southlake Moor in the village of Burrowbridge. It is a scheduled monument, with the ruined church on top of the hill a Grade II listed building. It's a steep climb to the top, but well worth it for the views once you get there.

Short, steep climb to the Mump, rewarded by stunning views of the Somerset Levels (flood planes) Unlike the nearby Glastonbury Tor, the site is not overcrowded. Free parking

Stunning views across the levels. 1.7 miles away. King Alfred pub at its foot to quench your thirst after the short climb.
