Trains are best. There are 4 stations fairly closeby. Ravensbourne goes to London Bridge and Blackfriars (8 minute walk) Beckenham Junction goes to Victoria (12-15 minute walk) New Beckenham goes to Charing Cross (but it's quite a walk say 20 minutes) If you want to go to Central London (Buckingham Palace & Trafalgar Square) Victoria is best. If you want to go to Camden Market then London Bridge and change for the northern line on the tube network.
