We love to browse through the selection at East West Bookshop at 324 Castro St. They are one of the largest independent bookstores in the world that specializes in metaphysical and “conscious living” materials. The store has a fun but relaxing environment and caters so well to spiritual/hippie types! Open Monday thru Thursday 11 - 10, Friday & Saturday 11 - 11, Sunday 11 - 9

Eclectic spiritual store has many unique gift items. Come explore or meditate next to the indoor water fountain.

Spend an hour or a few hours browsing through their books or the many various interesting finds this store has to offer. Catch a lecture or a class offered at the back of the store or simply sit by the waterfall and write down a special request and drop in the box provided. It is truly an amazing experience!

It's very new age place...I think they are connected with a church...however I think it's just neat to look at the crystals and listen to their indoor fountain. I like to look at their jewelry.
