Hands-down the best Espresso Martini - ever - anywhere. I promise. This is one of Melbourne's original, iconic laneway bars; still going strong after 18 years. Small, funky, arty hangout for east-end types; very popular with locals but great for solo visitors, who can sit at the bar and chat, or retire to a corner as the mood takes them. Great music, always something fabulous being mixed by the staff and the occasional guest DJ. Has order-in food available from a number of local restaurants, and an extensive but not pricy drinks list featuring exotic beers, well-chosen wine and a few cocktails. Small smoking area and footpath seating.
