The core of the Civic Art Collections is located in the Royal Villa, built by Pollack between 1790 and 1796 in the neoclassical style. In the sumptuous rooms of the GAM there is a rich collection of French and Italian art from the 1900s, with works by Appiani, Canova, Hayez, Segantini, Manet and Gaugin. At the back of the villa you can access an enchanting and surprisingly always uncrowded garden, the perfect place to seclude yourself in a romantic getaway with your partner.

the modern art gallery is located in the Royal Villa in Palestro, one of the Neoclassicism masterpieces of Milan, the Gallery of Modern Art hosts some of the masterpieces of the modern age, including Antonio Canova's sculptures and Francesco Hayez's paintings. From the rooms dedicated to neoclassicism, to those consecrated to romance, scapegoat and divisionism, the sensation here is to immerse yourself in a truly rare artistic heritage. It is free every day from 4:30 pm and every Tuesday from 2 pm. A good excuse to get some culture, do not you think?
