Nice hiking trail. Great view, lookout. Pink Lake Trail Loop is a 2.1 kilometer heavily trafficked loop trail located near Gatineau, Quebec, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until October. Pink Lake Trail is a very easy hike that most people can do in about an hour. It's a wonderful hike with beautiful views of the blue green lake. This hike involves a lot of stairs so you will want to leave your bikes and strollers behind. The area is popular and sees a lot of tourism, so you may want to arrive at the trailhead early to get a parking spot. It is also has a unique lake with a bright green color, especially in the summers due to algae that grows in the water. Pink Lake is a meromictic lake, meaning that the layers of water do not mix, which has caused the bottom of the lake to completely lack oxygen. Some of the species of fish that live in the lake are believed to be prehistoric. One unique fish that lives in the lake is a freshwater three-spined stickleback fish.

Great outdoors area to bring you kids. Walk around the lake. Learn about its cool unique feature of unmixing waters. See some local wildlife like turtles. Good times. Also there's a nice ice cream place nearby worth checking out if you visit: La Cigale
