This park has walking trails in the middle of the woods, a fenced area to walk and play with dogs, a picnic area, free basketball, soccer, tennis and baseball fields. Between July 9 to October 22 there is a Farmer's market with local produce (1.30 to 6.00 pm).

Let your dog go free. Newton has an array of dog parks throughout the city at which furry friends can run loose. A favorite is in Cold Spring Park, which visitors can find after taking a trek into the woods a bit.
