In New York it is common to use drop off and pickup laundry service. Danny 2 is right across the street and they are super friendly

Right at the end of the street. Drop off your laundry by around 9am, and it's ready to pick up that evening. The charge is per pound. It's economical, they're very reliable, and I use them for everything.
