Amazing state park with beautiful sand beaches and gorgeous pine trees on Sebago Lake. Great for swimming and boating. Worth the trip!

Sebago Lake State Park is a public recreation area encompassing 1,342 acres on the north shore of Sebago Lake in the towns of Naples and Casco, Cumberland County, Maine. It opened in 1938 as one of Maine's original five state parks.

Sebago Lake State Park opened to the public in 1938 as one of the five original state parks. This forested lakeside park is situated on the shore of Maine's deepest and second largest lake which provides year-round recreation for thousands of visitors each year. Near the foothills of the While Mountains, the park's 1,400 acres features sandy beaches, extensive woodlands, ponds, bogs a river and diverse habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal life. Swimming, sport fishing, camping and boating are some of the summer activities enjoyed by visitors at Sebago Lake State Park.

Because it is a beautiful family location. The park has many camping and picnic sites (equipped with grills- bring your own charcoal) as well as a gorgeous beach with both private go to spots or enjoy the beach close to the concession stand and restrooms with showers and changing areas.
