Vest-Telemark museum Eidsborg offers a modern museum building, yard with over 30 houses and Norway's oldest non-church wooden building from 1167, and not least Eidsborg stave church which can be dated back to the 13th century. The museum is a great starting point for experiencing West Telemark's rich cultural heritage and traditions. The museum is strategically located along county road 45 close to Eidsborg stave church and Vindlaus farms, which have a long history. In the museum, which opened in June 2012, you will find a café, museum shop and great exhibitions. In addition to the museum, you can experience various offers for children, events and concerts or walk one of the adapted walking paths starting from the yard.
