Zagreb Zoo is a 7-hectare zoo located within Maksimir Park in Zagreb, Croatia and is across the street from Zagreb's Maksimir Stadium. It is one of three zoo parks in the country.

Zagreb Zoo was founded in 1925. You can find it in Maksimir Park with more than 350 animal species . In zoo live more than 7800 animals from all continents .

The 18 hectares of lush greenery and forest. Maksimir Park was opened to the public in 1794 and was the first of its kind in this part of Europe. An added bonus, Zoological Garden of Zagreb is housed within it. Catch tram No. 11 or 12 from ban Josip Jelačić square to the Bukovačka stop. The entrance to Maksimir park is on the north side of the street.

Zoo is open every day, as well as at weekends and on holidays. Zoo has seasonal opening and closing times that change at the beginning of each month. The ticket office closes 60 minutes before the closing time and 90 minutes before the closing time during the summer months.
