JELS VIKING PAGEANT July 5th-21st 2024 Burning romance, fencing battles and colorful scenes performed by hundreds of volunteers creates a unique experience at Jels Viking pageant every summer. The trees and the lake forms a very special stage for the pageant, which have taken place since 1977. The pageants are based on Nordic mythology presented with modern effects. All actors and stage technicians are amateurs spending their spare time on practicing the pageant of the year. The staff of professionals among others include Louise Schouw as director and actor David Owe as fencing teacher. Buy your tickets at Billetexpressen'dot'dk or at the theater from 18.00 PM. Before the pageant you can enjoy a special Viking buffet in the incredible longhouse, Valhal. You can reserve tickets to the buffet online along with tickets for the pageant. However, it will be possible to order buffet until 1.00 PM on the day of your visit, by calling the secretariat of Jels Viking pageant (+four,five seven, four, five, five, two, one, one, zero)
