Lots of incredible scenery and trailheads in this area. This can be done as part of a loop in either direction, between Palmer and Talkeetna. Look to either side of the end points for additional goodness!

Hatcher Pass is a beautiful place to drive any time of the year. People travel there to snowboard, ski, sled or snow machine in the winter. There are new lifts there. In the summer, there are beautiful hiking trails, rivers and lakes and a beautiful long scenic road to enjoy. There is berry picking in the fall.
