28-minute drive. The 90ft high falls is recognized as one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area and will provide great photo opportunities! Drive 5.25 miles east of Tellico Plains, Tennessee on SR 165 and turn right onto Tellico River Road and drive 5.9 miles to parking.

Take a day trip and drive the beautiful Cherohala Skyway into Tennessee and venture a bit further to view this stunning waterfall. No hiking necessary.

One of the most beautiful falls in all of Tennessee. (Please see my Waterfalls and Views and their trails guidebook for the best of the best in our little back yard with day trip maps and much more). When the mist of Bald River Falls caresses your face it is the beginning of a lifetime romance guaranteed.

ABSOLUTLEY BEAUTIFUL REAR ROUND! This is a must see for everyone. There is also easy hiking trails.

There are many waterfalls throughout the mountains, but this one is a must see, if you don't mind a gorgeous drive over the Cherohala Skyway to get there! It's about 2 hours drive, but totally worth it...although you will be stopping many times for photo ops!
