To enjoy the incredible trails and bike paths throughout MARIN... Located just north of San Francisco, Marin County is an ideal cycling destination. Often referred to as the birth place of mountain biking, Marin’s park like landscape and minimal urban sprawl provide for a fun cycling experience. Acme Bikes has Marin County’s largest selection of rental bikes. We are located in San Rafael, a great city to begin your ride. If you want to check out Marin’s exciting mountain bike trails: China Camp State Park, Camp Tamarancho and Mt. Tamalpais are all within riding distance. For road riding, we can set you up with a road racing bike to ride out to Alpine Dam, to the top of Mt. Tam or the Paradise loop. We offer mountain bike and road bike rentals by the day or week. Delivery for a large group ride is available, please call us for details. A valid ID and credit card are required to rent a bicycle at Acme Bikes Locks not included, urban transportation riding strongly discouraged. We do not take reservations.
