Do yourself a favor and buy a 7 day unlimited pass if you are here more than 5 days. You will be surprised how much you are hopping on a bus or subway. You also should download the MTA TripPlanner App. You can put in your starting point and destination and it will give you all your options. Our public transit is so complex, native NY will use this app too.
