“Hafnarborg – the Hafnarfjörður Centre of Culture and Fine Art was founded in 1983, becoming the home of the town’s art collection. Chemist Sverrir Magnússon and his wife Ingibjörg Sigurjónsdóttir laid the foundations of the museum and its collection with the donation of their home and art collection to the town. On the ground floor is a nice restaurant and if you visit the beautiful neighborhood of Hafnarfjörður you can not miss a visit to this wonderful museum. ”

We recommend you go there for Icelandic fish for lunch or step in during the evening for a more upscale experience and perhaps a cocktail. Run by a young local couple.
