Gorgeous views and easy access. Seeing the old cars used as bank reinforcement is quite interesting. Great fishing spot.

If an easy stroll is more of your thing, the Eklutna Tailrace Trail is right up your alley. A 2 mile in and out easy hike along the Knik River will give you a pleasant outing without the strain of a climb.
