When we want a little more authentic Chinese food we head to Dian Xin, a Chinese restaurant in the French Quarter specializing in dim sum, but also serving a variety of dumplings, including soup dumplings, and other authentic Chinese delicacies.

Dim sum in the French Quarter. This place is on my list of restaurants I’m dying to try. There’s usually a wait, but I’ve read you can use the waitlist in the yelp app to save a spot. It’s getting rave reviews!

Great new chinese food in the Quarter. They feature soup dumplings but I've had great luck with everything on the menu but the chilled noodle thing.
