Located in Ceiba , Ferry trips are les than $5 to Culebra & Vieques. This is the most budget friendly way to go to the islands , but requires online reservations and is usually booked up to a month.

Ferryboat transport to the Isles of Vieques and Culebra. By all reports, you will need patience for this one! Get there EARLY and get in line. It's much cheaper to buy tickets at the terminal than online. Only runs a few times a day. They sometimes overbook ferries and bump waiting passengers. Early morning runs start around 5 am. Check schedule and plan carefully. On the bright side, the return ferry boat trip is known to be a lot less hassle than the inbound one... If you're not up for this potentially time consuming adventure, I suggest going by air. Flights to Vieques and Culebra out of SJU are often under $100.

Go here to get to Culebra or Vieques. ferry rides have greatly improved and now take around 1/2 hour. parking available
