The most beautiful park with large green open spaces, beautiful art decorations scattered throughout and an overall feeling of calm and serenity. The park really feels like a break-away from the hustling and bustling city! There's also a little restaurant in the park that serves all sorts of tasty meals and snacks!

Great park to visit if you have small children. It has large green spaces for picnics and children's play areas

What is Greenpoint parkrun? It is a 5km run - it's you against the clock. When is it? Every Saturday at 8:00am. Where is it? The event takes place in Greenpoint Park, Greenpoint, Cape Town. Between Bay, Bill Peter's, and Vlei Roads. See Course page for more details. What does it cost to join in? Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time. How fast do I have to be?
