You can walk here or take a bus; from it, you can head north on the Purple or Red Line all the way to Evanston, or take the Brown line south to downtown. The Red Line also stops downtown, but also goes all the way to the southern edge of the city. It makes a stop at 35th if you want to go see a Chicago White Sox game or you can get off at Cermak and go to Chinatown for dim sum, to shop, or dine at one of the many good restaurants.
