Cortez is now in our short list of best restaurants in Raleigh along with Stanbury, Crawford & Son and Pooles. We ordered the mushroom toast, tuna ceviche, beans and brussel sprouts to share and I had the crispy salmon.

FANTASTIC tapas style food and cocktails. I have dreams about the charred octopus and the "Roots to Jalisco" cocktail!

One of our favorite ambiances in the city, this beautiful seafood place has the food to match. If it's nice out, try to sit on the patio. Great cocktails.
