City Beach is the closest swimming beach. It is a white sandy beach, patrolled by life guards and lit into the night and early in the morning. The adjoining City Beach Park is popular for people visiting the beach and relaxing on the open lawn areas and includes picnic and barbecue facilities. City beach is also a dining precinct. For casual dining, we strongly recommend fish ‘n’ chips at Clancy’s Fish Pub for sunset. If you are looking for something more upmarket, dinner and cocktails overlooking the water at Odyssey will not disappoint.
