Crossnore School is a residential school for orphaned children that has now opened up to other children in the surrounding community. The coffee shop is run by the students. Pick through the second hand shop that is on the school grounds and visit the looming room and witness artists hand making amazing scarves and capes with their looms.

Quaint coffee shop with great coffee, wraps, sandwiches and baked goods. There is a nice consignment shop located beside it also! Both shops are owned by a non-profit school for children.
