Right next to the 'big' park is this rather tranquil enclosed garden. It has an intimate atmosphere, even some locals don't know about this place. The It has its own entrance and opens at 8;30 and a closing time of 16:30 so be on time.

Historische Tuin Schoonoord is a unique part of Rotterdam's green heritage. The garden contains a rich collection of flora and fauna. The former country estate was originally designed in an English landscape style. Due to the historical elements, unique location and special planting, Schoonoord has been designated as a protected national monument.
