The village of Rock is opposite the popular town of Padstow .The long sandy beach that fronts the village is a popular destination for swimmers and sun seekers while out on waters of the Camel Estuary yachtsman, wind surfers and water skiers enjoy the breeze. From the beach there are fantastic views up and down the wide estuary, and nearby is a clutch of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. To the right and along the coast there are spectacular walks across the sand to Daymer Bay and Polzeath and from the village there’s a small ferry that makes the short trip over to Padstow. Rock is a dog friendly beach all year round

Beautiful dog friendly beach with great water-sports facilities. The area also has many fantastic restaurants, cafes and independent stores and art galleries.

Beautiful, long sandy beach, just over a mile walk down the road, many different routes down , through Penmayne past the Sharps brewery centre, Through the droves and over the golf course walk, turn right oppositte Fee's food, John Bray and other shops, you then walk down over the golf course Down Rock road, you can turn opposite nursery stores left, and then down through Penmayne and down through the fields to Porthilly beach, which lleads to Rock at lower tide Walk down to Fee's food and cut left to Porthilly Or continue down Rock road , past the Mariners

Beautiful, year-round dog-friendly beach. Park at Rock Quarry Car Park, download RingGo app, enter site code 15661, pay for desired time and you're good to go! From Rock Beach you can take the ferry to Padstow, a 15 min ride, return ticket costs £4 pp (cash only). There are restaurants next to the beach where dogs are welcome.
