Mga tip mula sa mga tagaroon
Since its opening in 2008, DPAC has become the center for live entertainment in North Carolina. Recognized for its contemporary design, DPAC features 2,700 seats, intimate sight lines and state-of-the art sound and video.
Is there a show in town while you're visiting? Broadway, comedy, music acts...DPAC does it all.
Great place to see a broadway show or play - I’ve been a season ticket holder for 3 years
I debated whether to put this in the Fun for Everyone or Fun for Adults Only category, but then I remembered that we took our kid to see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory here, and we all had fun. So, this gets filed here. DPAC is the region’s premier spot for Broadway productions, large concerts…
Great place for an afternoon or evening of entertainment. Visit dpacnc.com to view the current shows or plays and we highly recommend buying tickets and checking it out.

“I was a little too young to be allowed to watch the famously steamy Tim Robbins/Susan Sarandon movie Bull Durham when it came out, but maybe it’s time to put it on the watch list. Check out the team that put minor league ball on the map back in the 80s. I hope they got some new players since then, otherwise the game will be slow…or conversely…over real quick. The newish Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DPAB) is a world-class stadium for Minor League ball. Cheap, easy to get to, and fun for everyone. Check the schedule to see when they’re doing fireworks. Bonus!”

“Check out a movie or two! This architecture of this building is worth seeing and a lot of history here and untold stories. They still serve popcorn! ”

“A creatively restored mid-century hotel, The Durham is a great spot to take in the city skyline and enjoy a drink. Take the elevator to the top floor and look at Durham from above. The head bartender is one of the best in town and the menu is delicious. You can also get dinner and creative snacks, too. Recommended: Dessert Cocktails”

“There are three locations of this creative coffee shop and roastery in Durham, but the closest is straight down Geer St. Try one of their creative drinks, including a wide selection of hot chocolates. This is a lovely place to sit and take in the Durham scene. After your coffee, you can stroll around the neighborhood and visit Fullsteam Brewery, browse local goods at The Mothership, or walk to the Durham Farmers’ Market. Pro-Tip: arrive early on Saturday to beat the line. Recommended: The Dr. Durham Latte, or check out the Lakewood location for made-to-order churros!”
