So you have a beautiful chateau with vines. What do you do once you've made some rather attractive, utterly drinkable wine? Well, you open a wine bar and tea shop where your guests can sit and enjoy generous platters of cheese, saucisson, pate and fresh crusty bread with a glass or two of your red, white & rose wine closely followed by a generous slice of homemade cake and a cup of tea or espresso. Jacqui Franc de Ferriere with her husband Wifrid has created a totally unique corner for lovers of wine, good food and cake. Go there you will not be disappointed.

You can have a wine tour with tasting, buy wines and have tapas or an English afternoon tea in the wonderful Glass House. English and French speaking.

Many chateaux in the area offer wine tastings. This is one of our favourites, with a small restaurant for lunch/high tea.
