This is an excellent house to see how people used to live back in the day. Option to do a recorded walking tour or just walk around

If you come to Charleston to learn about history and culture I highly recommend. All the families seem to be intertwined...even with Middletons. A self guided (with audio you download on phone) tour through home that has been preserved “as is”. From here recommend touring Nathaniel Russel House. Less expensive to purchase the two together.
